Hyattsville Walkable Community Plan

This project utilized a participatory community design and planning approach to create a plan for a more walkable community for the multi-cultural community of West Hyattsville, MD. Devin Kimmel's plan draws inspiration from a traditional small-town Main Street plan to envision a new riverwalk as the center of a mixed- use "Main Stream" walkable community plan.

Partners: Neighborhood Design Center, Maryland National Park and Planning Commission, and City of Hyattsville.
