Greenways and Open Spaces | Quality Livable Environments | Revitalizing Communities





 

 

 
Northwest Branch Greenway (Rachel Carson Greenway)- This group project is one of five inventory boards for a proposed greenway in the Northwest Branch watershed. This 2002 studio work was done in support of the proposed (now approved in Spring 2004) Rachel Carson Greenway. This board focuses on the ecological aspects of the site including slopes, forest cover and hydrology. Partner support for this project was provided by Maryland National Park and Planning Commission in Montgomery County, MD.

Tri-Country Greenway. This project by Alicia Julienne focused on a regional greenway located on the Delmarva Peninsula.

Partner: Department of Natural Resources, State of Maryland.

Cabin Branch Greenway - This board depicts the focus area for a proposed greenway adjacent to Seat Pleasant, Prince George's County. This base information is from a Geographic Information System (GIS). Courtney Galiber proposes a link from the municipal district of Seat Pleasant to the proposed green way along the Cabin Branch stream. Partners: Maryland National Park and Planning Commission, Neighborhood Design Center, City of Seat Pleasant, Prince George's County, MD.
