The Department of Plant Science and Landscape Architecture offers both a professional BLA and MLA degree. Both degrees are accredited and meet the academic requirements for licensure.
Prospective Undergraduates may apply to our four-year accredited professional bachelor's degree program.
Prospective Graduate students may apply to one of two options:
-
First-Professional MLA degree program (3 year program)
-
Post Professional degree program (2 year program)
Our 2-Year students come to us with prior design education in landscape architecture or related disciplines. The 3-Year students often have no prior design training but bring to the program-and to each other-the richness of diverse undergraduate educations and work experiences. Students have backgrounds in Art and Graphic Design, Biology, Business Management, Environmental Studies, Horticulture, Geography, Natural Resource Management, Sociology, and among others.
