Question
Are students from programs outside the United States eligible to receive monetary wards?

No – only students from accredited institutions located within the United States and Territories are eligible to receive awards. Students from outside the United States and Territories would be free to submit but are not eligible for monetary awards.

Update: Site Selection Top

The site selection requirements for the competition have been expanded to include any public use sites where the site program includes education and thus has an opportunity for LID demonstration and education. This can include university research campuses, zoos, aquariums and museums. Please email if you have questions about site requirements.

Update: Jury and Awards Top

The jury will see all the entries but a maximum of three awards will be allowed to any one participating educational program and the individual or groups in the participating educational program.

What specifically is meant by no "identifying marks" on the submitted boards?

This refers only to individual's identity including faculty member. It does not refer to the geographical identity of a site or campus.

Clarification: Required Images Top

Required three to ten JPEG or PowerPoint images should be of the actual submission and are intended to enhance the detail of a particular part of a board? These submitted images may also be used for presenation at the conference or web site.
